Australia in PISA 2025 – Preliminary Analysis

The OECD released the results of PISA 2025 on 8 September 2026, together with the underlying data for the 91 participating countries. This report is a preliminary, not comprehensive, analysis of  Australia's results. It draws on the published OECD and ACER reports and also on the raw dataset for the Australian sample of nearly 15,000 15-year-olds. The report has three sections:
