Have your say: Anti-Bullying Rapid Review now open for public submissions (Ref: 117/25)
The Commonwealth Government has launched the Anti-bullying Rapid Review, which is a key part of the Government's plans to develop a national response to bullying in Australian Schools.
Parents, students, and teachers are invited to make submissions and have their say to inform this review. The review will be examining school procedures and best practice methods to deal with bullying behaviours.
Submissions from parents, teachers and students will help the Government understand different approaches in response to bullying, and whether they are effective.
To make a submission, visit www.education.gov.au/antibullying-rapid-review. Submissions are able to be made anonymously.
Submissions close on 20 June 2025.
The final report is said to be presented to the Education ministers this year in the coming months.

2025 Connected Catholic Communities Symposium (Ref: 122/25)
In 2025, we know that our schools have never been called to do more and be more, to support the students and families who seek enrolment. The 2025 Symposium in August will continue the conversation on how we can further connect for impact!
How might we transform our work and the services we provide to our students, families and staff to ensure vibrant and flourishing communities?
Join your NSW Catholic community in August for this important conversation
Catholic Schools NSW embarked upon the bold initiative of the Connected Catholic Communities Project in 2022 to respond to feedback from our stakeholders and the outcomes of the Australian Plenary Council, which called on those responsible for Catholic education to identify and respond to the diverse needs and distinct circumstances of Catholic schools today.
In 2025, we know that our schools have never been called to do more and be more, to support the students and families who seek enrolment in our schools.
This year’s theme - Connected for Impact - continues our journey of exploring and advancing opportunities to build impactful partnerships, both within and beyond the school gate.
We invite you to join this important discussion that includes:
- our collective impact on school connectedness
- building strategic partnerships
- creating a sustainable culture in school communities
- extended service school model
- case studies from our own communities and beyond
DATE: Thursday, 14 August 2025, 9 am – 4 pm
VENUE: Amora Hotel Jamison, Sydney
COST: $100 for full-day program and resources

I was impressed with the planning, delivery and professionalism... I am very keen to see the concept of "Schools as Hubs" for our Connected Catholic Communities and see this as where the future of our Catholic Church, not just schools, needs to move to.
