This year’s 2026 K-12 Curriculum Reform Conference exciting programme once again provides contemporary and thought-provoking opportunities for professional learning and conversation.

With keynotes, breakout sessions and communities of practice designed to support schools in their great works, inspire action and challenge thinking. As always, this is a conference not to be missed.

We know however, that it may not be possible for your school to join us live on the day, so if you register your school, your staff will have full exclusive access to the conference content and recordings post event. 

A unique feature of CSNSW PL is that post-event, we do the hard work for you: we find the research and resources presenters reference, we locate any media articles, embed videos and websites, we even try to find the best price on any books that presenters recommend! 

It is all presented in an accessible and engaging interactive format, making it easy for you to collaborate with your colleagues and have those important learning conversations post-conference. 

This will be available to all schools for 6-months after the Conference.

Australian Geography Teachers’ Association (AGTA) Conference 2026 (Ref: 126/26)

The Australian Geography Teachers’ Association (AGTA) Conference 2026 will be held in Canberra from 30 September to 2 October 2026.

Bringing together geography educators, academics, publishers, and industry partners from across Australia, the conference provides a valuable opportunity for professional learning, collaboration, and knowledge sharing.

Under the theme “Inspire, Shine, ACT,” the event celebrates the important role of geography teachers in preparing young people to understand and respond to the challenges and opportunities of an ever-changing world.

The conference offers an engaging program of presentations, workshops, and networking opportunities designed to inspire, inform, and connect the geography education community.

Student Resources 

Upcoming STEM MAD Free Student Workshops (Ref: 121/26)

Join leading STEM educator Dr Simon Crook, Director of CrookED Science, for one of these free half-day student workshops

Leveraging his proven record of success with finalists and winners in the Catholic Network Australia (CNA) STEM MAD competition, Simon will address student questions about their projects. 

The listed workshops are designed to be Q&A workshops to help support students completing their STEM MAD projects. Students and their STEM teachers will be able to ask Dr Crook questions that may benefit all participants.

These Q&A workshops and will be held on: 

  • Thu 25 Jun (9.00am – 12.00pm) 
  • Thu 10 Sep (9.00am – 12.00pm)
